Tour Itinerary
If you could weave together the perfect Italy vacation, what would you bring to the loom? The pastel palaces of Venice? The muted frescoes of Florence? The ornate piazzas of Rome? The azure waters of Capri? We’ve selected the most stunning scenes across the country to create a rich and rewarding tapestry of experiences on this visual and tactile tour of Italy. A gondola serenade in romantic Venice, a balsamic vinegar tasting in culinary Modena, a walking tour of Pompeii’s excavations, a Limoncello sampling in sunny Sorrento—they’re all part of a perfectly woven itinerary that starts in the “Floating City,” coasts through the rolling green Tuscan Hills, explores the “Eternal City” and then saunters south to the fashionable resort of Capri. In true Italian fashion, this vibrant and vivid tour of Italy is a work of art.

Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
I felt the hotel rooms were very tiny as well as the bathrooms. I thought the breakfasts would have been better quality foods.
I would not recommend Globus. Tour guide was curt and at times very rude. Everyone on the tour thought the same thing. Restaurants they chose were ok, but from other Italian guests, they did not like the food. Tour indicated gong to the Colosseum, we did but did not go in. Very disappointing. I choice this tour to go into the colosseum. We were only allowed 10 minutes there. Too rushed. Promised jet boat, that didnt happen either. I would not book another Globus tour.
Excellent tour. It made seeing the attractions much smoother. Ample free time on our own. Excellent tour director
I think the food and the restaurant choices were made based on the best price for Globus. Not the usual amazing food that one would find in Italy. I LOVE salami, but not everyday and at every meal! I liked that our tour director gave us a lot of history about Italy.
Would suggest that no flights be booked using the airlines Alitalia, the worst experience ever flying and will never fly their airlines again.
Just a great experience and a fabulous trip
My tour to the Natural Parks was beyond my expectations. It was so beautiful and enjoyed everyday with the group. Great excursions and very organized.
Last year I took the Globus tour "Italy's Great Cities" and the hotels were excellent. This year I took Globus's "Italian Tapestry", expecting the hotels to be of the same calibur. They weren't bad, but were not quite the same quality as last year\'s. I would probaly still take another Globus tour again, but I'd look a lot more closely at the accommodations online beforehand. Of course, I did that prior to this trip, too, but you can only tell so much from afar.
I just wanted to say that booking my excursions through Globus was fine but i wish they would have said that if there were not enough people that were signed up to do the excursion that it would be cancelled. We booked a Gondola ride and had already paid for it before the trip and since half of the other people on the trip did not want to do the gondola ride because it was raining a little, it was cancelled.
