You won’t need to venture far to catch the scent of the 'world’s best lemons', which you’ll see in abundance at the local markets. Taste some of the mouth-watering fresh produce grown locally or consider an Optional Experience to the artists’ paradise of Positano, followed by a scenic drive along the Amalfi coast. Bay of Naples – AssisiEnjoy the atmosphere as you explore the beautiful Bay of Naples during your free time this morning. Alternatively, choose to join an Optional Experience guided walking tour of Pompeii, buried under the volcanic ash for centuries after Mount Vesuvius erupted. Leaving the Bay of Naples behind, journey past Cassino and view the monastery which featured as a backdrop for some of the fiercest battles of World War II. Indulge in a romantic moment of your own before leaving Verona, bound for Italy’s irresistible Lake District. Arriving on the shores of Lake Como, you’ll see first-hand why this scenic setting has been a favorite summer retreat of the rich and famous for centuries. Day 8
Italian Lakes – Pisa – Florence (Prato)Pisa's white marble façades gleam in the sunshine, but it is the famous Leaning Tower that gets most of the glory when you visit this 'Field of Miracles', so named by 20th-century Italian writer and poet Gabriele d’Annunzio. Since Medieval times, the exquisite structures in the piazza have symbolised man’s journey through religious life – the Baptistery representing birth, life represented by the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, and the Camposanto, death. After a short drive from Pisa, you’ll arrive at your hotel near Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. A full day of sightseeing lies ahead, so kick back and enjoy the company of your travel companions this evening at an optional dinner in the Tuscan hills.Accommodation: Starhotels Vespucci

Day 9
Florence sightseeing – RomeThere are few cities in the world with an artistic legacy equal to that of Florence. Your Local Specialist shares a superb commentary of the city's artistic and architectural heritage during a walking tour, which includes views of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Baptistery, the impressive Giotto's Bell Tower and the Ponte Vecchio. Visit Piazza della Signoria and squeeze in some time for shopping – Florence is particularly renowned for its high-quality leather and 18-carat gold jewelery. Later, return to Rome, where your journey began. You’ll have an evening alone to forge final memories with new friends or consider an Optional Experience whisking you away on one last sightseeing trip with a mouth-watering farewell dinner followed by live entertainment.Accommodation: Ergife Palace

Day 10
Depart RomeIf Italy has become engraved in your heart as it did for celebrated poet Robert Browning, you’ll have a hard time saying arrivederci. Question: Is there a single supplement charge?
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
Excellent tour. Perfectly designed. We got a lot of knowledge of Italy's history, and visited a lot of cities and sightseeing. Every day was perfectly planned and coordinated. Being in Italy only 10 days we were able to see the whole country from South to the North Our tour director and driver were super professional. We can recommend this tour to everyone.
I will strongly refer your company to my friends and relatives
Since the hotels were not in the center of the city, the optional tours were needed to fill up the time. But even with the optional events included the total price was much less than the price of many other full event tours. The tour was very well worth the price. Its included all major attractions of Italy, and there was a lot of good food to eat.
Bus trip and information was great. Good leaders and tour participants. Don't like adding on extra excursions
Having not traveled in Italy before this trip I did not know to expect smaller hotel rooms. It would have been nice to know the location of the hotels before booking and well before the week before the trip began.
The Hotel location on the 1st and 2nd day in Rome is far from the city hotel room, bathroom is old.Hotel at Venice is old.
The trip was great and met all our expectation. The trip director was gianmarco and he was extremely good at his job. He made a great trip even better
We reslly enjoyed our tour nice tour director Roselka & safety bus driver Geraldo
We had a great time the hot made sure we did and she always had a smile on her face and was vry positive
Affordable tours and Trafalgar stayed on top of the entire booking and made our trip the most memorable of our life. I went in with very high expectations and a little worried about doing all the booking online. Well it was no worries after was all over and my expectations were surpassed. Hope you have the opportunity to find out the same.
This trip was fantastic! I was lucky to have a great Tour Director and awesome people on the tour. The tour was well planned and was a great value. If you're thinking about booking this trip - do it- you will not regret it !
This tour went above and beyond my expectations. Excellent choice of excursions and included sites.
The tour with Trafalgar was great. We had a terrific guide and a wonderful group of people. It was easy to book and Affordable Tours was very helpful.
Everything is good except for the food provided
We had a great experience booking the tour with Affordable Tours and a wonderful time on the CostSaver Trafalgar tour. Exceeded our expectations!!
Everything we were hoping for and more!
This was an fun tour with an energtic travel guide. The excursions were awesome but be prepared to go, go, go with no down time. The information said there were optional tours; the option was if you don't go on the tour, you stay on the bus or you are dropped off in front of the excursion and you wait for everyone to go on the tour and return to the bus. This tour was one nighters to two nights in an area, so staying behind to shop or relax and enjoy the area was not an option. The language about the tour was misleading. It makes sense now that I have gone through the tour and understand the process, however, it was a bit of a suprise and additional costs that were not accounted for: paying for optional tours if you don't want to sit on the bus or be dropped off outside the excursion.
THE AFFORDABLE TOURS OPERATOR AND SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. A FEW OF THE 3STAR PROPERTIES WERE INDIVIDUAL OPERATED AND NOT TO MY EXPECTATIONS. TRAFALGAR ALSO DID NOT DO AS GREAT A JOB ACCOMMODATING VEGETARIAN MEALS DURING THEIR PROVIDED DINNERS. OVERALL TOUR WAS GREAT THOUGH AS I ENJOYED ITALY!
