Journey east into the vast Navajo Indian Reservation and stop at a historic Indian trading post with a chance to purchase native handicrafts. Then it's on through the Painted Desert to Glen Canyon Dam, spanning the Colorado River and backing up its waters to form the magnificent Lake Powell. With over 1,900 miles of towering sandstone shoreline, the lake's deep blue waters fill thousands of tiny fingers and hidden coves.
