Day 1 - DEPART USA

Board your overnight flight.

Day 2 - ARRIVE TEL AVIV

Shalom! You're met at Ben gurion Airport and transferred to your hotel. Hotel: Sheraton Hotel & Towers.

Day 3 - JAFFA EXCURSION

See all the highlights of this lively city the Habimah National Theatre, Rabin Square and Carmel market before continuing to the ancient port of Jaffa. Now visit Mini Israel- a miniature park featuring 330 replica models. Tonight enjoy a Shabbat dinner at your hotel. (BB,HD)

Day 4 - TEL AVIV - GALILEE

Explore the ruins at Cesarea. Then on via Haifa to Acre to see the fortress, old harbour area and a Crusader crypt. Continue to Nazareth where you visit the Church of Annunciation. The day concludes with a visit to a Kibbutz for a brief introduction to this communal way of life.

Day 5 - GALILEE - DEAD SEA

Visit the 2000 year old wooden boat before taking a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Visit Capernaum and the Mount of Beatitudes. Follow the River Jordan to the Dead Sea for a dip in the buoyant waters.

Day 6 - DEAD SEA - JERUSALEM

Ride by cable-car up to the fortress of Masada. Drive through the Judaean Hills to Mount Scopus for views over Jerusalem. Then visit King David's Tomb, the Room of the Last Supper and the Western Wall.

Day 7 - JERUSALEM

Tour Yad- Vashem, the moving museum commemorating the Jewish people killed during the Holocaust. Continue to the Shrine of the Book, containing the Dead See Scrolls. Tonight enjoy an oriental dinner at a local restaurant. (BB,HD)

Day 8 - JERUSALEM

Visit the Garden of Gethsemene then walk through the Old City to see the Temple Mount. Continue along the Via Dolorosa to see the Stations of the Cross, Ecce Homo Arch, Pool of Bethesda and Church of the Holy Sepulchre built on the site of the Crucifixion. (BB)

Day 9 - JERUSALEM - CAIRO

Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your flight to Cairo where you are met and transferred to the hotel.

Day 10 - CAIRO

Meet your Egyptian Tour Director and drive to Memphis to see the statue of Remeses II and alabaster sphinx. Nearby at Sakkara, view the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the oldest in the world. Now visit inside one of the Pyramids of Giza and see the Sphinx! This evening, return to Giza for a magical Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids. (BB)

Day 11 - CAIRO - LUXOR

Fly to Luxor, the former capital of the New Kingdom. In private moorings near the edge of town, your cruise boat awaits. Board in time for lunch and then visit Luxor Temple which provides an unforgettable introduction to ancient Thebes. Now continue to Karnak, the largest temple complex ever built by man, constructed over a time period of 1500 years. Walk through the avenue of Ram-headed sphinxes, past the statue of Rameses II, to stand in awe among the huge columns of the vast Hypostyle Hall.

Day 12 - ON BOARD SHIP

After breakfast, cross to the west bank of the Nile and stop for a photo of the towering Colossi of Memnon. These two giant seated figures are all that is left of Amon-Ofis III mortuary temple. Visit the amazing reconstructed Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, blending into the cliff face above. Continue to the Valley of the Kings, the burial place of many of the New Kingdom Pharaohs. After venturing inside some of the tombs return to your cruise ship and drift upstream to Esna and Edfu. (BB,L,D)

Day 13 - ON BOARD SHIP

This morning visit the beautifully preserved Temple of Horus, (the Falcon God ) possibly the most complete in Egypt. Get your cameras ready as you cruise to Kom Ombo. The temple, dedicated to both Horus the Elder and Sobek, the crocodile god, is a glorious sight from the river. Inside you will find some mummified remains of some small crocodiles. Celebrate in true Egyptian style at an Oriental Dinner and Galabea Party. (BB,L,HD)

Day 14 - ON BOARD SHIP

Cruise to exotic Aswan in the cool of early morning. Visit the Aswan High Dam and also the ancient Granite Quarries to see the enormous unfinished obelisk. Take a motorboat to the Temple of Isis, rising from the waters of the Nile on the Island of Philae. Later, return to Aswan and sail in a traditional Nile felucca around Aswan's Botanical Gardens. Day 15 - ASWAN - CAIRO

Optional excursion to Abu Simbel, before transferring to the airport for your return flight to Cairo.

Day 16 - CAIRO SIGHTSEEING

Visit the Citadel for a breathtaking view of the city of Cairo and visit the great Mosque of Mohammed Ali. Later, visit the famous Egyptian Museum to see the splendid treasure recovered from the tomb of Tutankhamun. (BB)

Day 17 - CAIRO - AMMAN

Transfer to the airport and fly to Amman, where you meet your Jordanian Tour Director.

The trip to Jerash revals the most beautifully preserved example of a Greco-Roman city in exsistance. Travel on to Mt Nebo, followed by Madaba to see the mosaic map in St George's Church. Continue to your hotel in Petra.

Day 19 - PETRA SIGHTSEEING

Drive along the King's Highway to visit the authentic 12th century crusader fortress- Shobak. Back in Amman see the Citadel Hill and Roman Amphitheatre.
