Explore some of China and Japan's best-known cities during this independent vacation. Begin with a 3-night stay in Tokyo, Japan's capital. Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour that includes Tokyo Tower, the Asakusa Kannon Temple, and a pearl gallery. Also enjoy ample free time to explore this unique city on your own. Next, fly to Beijing, the heart and soul of China. This portion of your trip includes a tour to the Great Wall of China and abundant free time to discover a variety of Beijing's cultural and historic treasures during your 3-night stay. Next, spend three nights in Shanghai, China's most populous city, and enjoy a guided sightseeing tour, a stroll along the world-famous Bund, a visit to the Shanghai Museum, and plenty of leisure time for shopping, dining, and cultural encounters. Finally, travel to the beautiful harbor city of Hong Kong. Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour, a cable car ride up Victoria Peak, and a Sampan ride on Hong Kong's harbor. In your free time, consider a day trip to Macau, an evening harbor cruise, or a visit to Kowloon. When you return home from this independent vacation to Japan and China, you'll have lots of memories and photos to share with friends and family.
