ITINERARY
Day 1 - Arrive Singapore
Singapore is situated just a few degrees north of the Equator, at the very crossroads of Asia. This fascinating tropical city offers a rich tapestry of cultures, a perfect and harmonious blending of Eastern and Western traditions, cuisine, arts, architecture and cultures. Upon arrival at the ultra-modern airport, you'll be met and escorted by private car to your luxury resort hotel, a tropical garden oasis in the heart of the city. Shangri-La Hotel

Day 2 - Explore Singapore
Today your own personal car, driver, and guide will help you to discover Singapore's rich historic legacy and the fascinating multi-cultural, cosmopolitan pace of life today. Your private touring begins with a drive through Little India, filled with colorful shop houses, and continues past Parliament, Supreme Court, and City Hall - impressive reminders of Singapore's Colonial heritage. Ascend Mt. Faber for a bird's eye view of the city and see the National Orchid Garden located in the renowned Botanic Gardens. Ride the Singapore Flyer, indulge with an unusual spa treatment, and sit down to lunch at Seafood Paradise. Then marvel at the multi-ethnic foods and lively street life in the colorful districts of Toa Payoh and Geylang. Meals B,L

Day 3 - Singapore at Leisure

A full day free to spend as you please! You can relax pool-side at your resort hotel, or take advantage of its heart-of-it-all location to shop the boutiques and department stores of Orchard Road. This evening, we'll take you to the Singapore City Gallery to see an impressive architectural scale model of the City. Then continue with your private guide to the Chinatown Heritage Center, where traditional Chinese shop houses have been restored to trace the fascinating history of their early occupants who arrived from southern China nearly 200 years ago. Day 4 - Singapore / Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam

Your journey continues today with a short flight to Vietnam. Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, you'll be met and escorted to your hotel, an oasis of luxury in the bustling heart of the city. Meals B

Day 5 - Ho Chi Minh City

This is a sophisticated and modern city with 300 years of rich culture. Your touring includes Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office. You'll also visit the bustling central market as well as Cholon, the city's Chinatown. Later, venture outside the city to the Cu Chi Tunnels - the incredible underground network that once stretched for 210 miles, extensively used by guerrilla fighters beginning in 1940 and continuing through the Vietnam War. Day 6 - Ho Chi Minh City

Today is free to explore at your own pace. Meals B

Day 7 - Board your Pandaw Cruise

Travel to the riverfront to board your comfortable Pandaw Cruise Ship. Settle-in to your comfortable air-conditioned stateroom and then join your fellow travelers for a welcome cocktail and lunch as the ship sets sail for My Tho. Upon arrival, you'll stop at the Vinh Trang Buddhist temple and cross the river to explore by canoe through the island backwaters of Con Phung Island. Back onboard, you sail for Can Tho. Meals B,L,D

Day 8 - Visit the Cai Bei Market

Today, you'll board small motorboats for an excursion through Cai Bei to see the floating markets. Then walk ashore to visit the French Gothic Cathedral and colorful port area with its colonial buildings and delightful flower gardens. The remainder of day is spent cruising the Mekong Delta. Day 9 - Visit Chau Doc

After breakfast, board small boats to visit a Cham tribal village. Later enjoy a trishaw ride in Chau Doc with its fine French colonial buildings and bustling market, brimming with goods and local produce. Meals B,L,D

Day 10 - Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Today you arrive in the capital, Phnom Penh, a city that retains a distinctive colonial French charm. Your escorted sightseeing tour includes Wat Ounalom and Wat Phnom, the hilltop pagoda which gave the city its name. You'll also visit the Royal Palace, built in the 1800's with gilded halls and a towering tiled roof, and the Silver Pagoda, so named for the 5,000 solid-silver tiles that grace the floor of the temple building. A somber stop is also made at the Killing Fields, where the Choeung Ek Memorial bears witness to the tragedy of lives lost during the rule of the Khmer Rouge. Meals B,L,D

Day 11 - Phnom Penh to Kampong Cham

An early morning departure brings you to the Chong Koh silk weaving village. Your tranquil cruise continues along timeless scenes of river life, peaceful villages and the lush Cambodian countryside. Meals B,L,D

Day 12 - Kampong Cham

This morning you'll journey to the hilltop temple of Wat Hanchey dating from the 8th century. Explore Kampong Chamin the afternoon. Meals B,L,D

Day 13 - Tonle River

Today's river journey is a highlight. You wind your way through jungle and as the river narrows, you feel as though you could reach out and touch the houses and the people who come to the riverbanks to wave. Temples abound along these shores and at Kampong Chaanan, you'll have splendid views of the rich tapestry of Cambodian rural life. Meals B,L,D

Day 14 - Disembark / Siem Reap

Early this afternoon you disembark ship and transfer to your luxury resort hotel, an historic landmark here in Siem Reap. After time to relax, you begin your explorations through the jungle ruins of Angkor - magnificent 12th century Angkor Wat, considered by many to be the pinnacle of Khmer architecture, and spectacular Angkor Thom, an ancient royal city surrounded by a nearly-perfectly square wall, more than 20 feet high and stretching more than 7 miles. Day 15 - Siem Reap - Explore the ruins of Angkor

Continue your exploration of Angkor's impressive temple and city ruins, including Prasat Kravan, Banteay Kdei, Ta Prohm, Ta Keo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda. At the headquarters of the Angkor Conservation efforts, you'll gain insight into the valuable work being done to preserve this World Heritage Site. Meals B, D

Day 16 - Siem Reap Departure
