Next, board the Eurostar train to Brussels, followed by a comfortable drive to Amsterdam. In Amsterdam, enjoy a sightseeing tour aboard a leisurely canal cruise. Drive through Germany’s Rhineland and Black Forest. Stop to visit the famous cathedral in Cologne and take pictures of Heidelberg Castle. Of course, a cruise on the romantic Rhine River is included. From Heidelberg, travel to Switzerland and stop at Rhine Falls on the Swiss border. In Switzerland, spend two nights in charming lakeside Lucerne for a walking tour and plenty of time to relax. You can shop, climb a mountain by cable car, take a cruise on the fjord-like lake, or simply rest. Enjoy the Alpine scenery before heading into France and driving through the Burgundy wine area to Paris. In Paris, your sightseeing tour with a Local Guide includes all the highlights of Paris, including Champs-Elysées, Notre Dame Cathedral, Arc de Triomphe, and more. Ride up to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower for spectacular views of Paris. Finally, board the Eurostar train and travel back to London for the perfect ending to your European Sampler vacation!
