Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Tokyo
Arrive at New Tokyo International Airport (Narita Airport). Upon arrival, you are met by a SITA representative at the exit and assisted to board airport limousine bus for your hotel.

Day 2: Tokyo
Enjoy your Seat in Coach (SIC) tour of Tokyo. The tour will visit Tokyo Tower Observatory, Imperial Palace Plaza, Asakusa Kannon Temple and Nakamise shopping arcade. Drive by Ginza and the Tasaki Pearl Gallery to Akhibara, where you may leave the tour for further independent exploration. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 3: Mt. Fuji
Travel this morning by deluxe Coach to Mt. Fuji. Drive halfway up Japan's highest mountain to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 meters. After lunch at Hotel Highland Resort, transfer to Hakone. Enjoy Lake Ashi Boat Cruise and Mt. Komagatake Aerial Cableway (may be omitted due to traffic condition). Overnight at Hakone.

Day 4: Nagoya
Transfer to Odawara station and board a Shinkansen for Nagoya. Enjoy an afternoon tour of Nagoya. Following dinner at hotel, enjoy cormorant Fishing Show (Ukai), traditional Japanese fishing method.

Day 5: Kyoto, Inuyama
Enjoy a full day walking tour in Inuyama, including a visit to Uraku-en Garden and Inuyama Castle. Experience wearing a Kimono, and then proceed to Kyoto in the evening. Transfer to Nagoya station to board your train for Kyoto. Upon arrival in Kyoto, you are transferred to your hotel.

Day 6: Kyoto, Nara
Morning enjoy your tour of Kyoto. Visit Golden Pavilion, Nijo Castle and Kyoto Imperial. Following lunch at Kyoto Handicraft Center, proceed to Nara. Visit Todaiji Temple housing Great Buddha, colorful Kasuga Shrine with 3,000 lanterns and Deer Park. * If Nijo Castle is closed, the tour will visit Ryoanji Temple. If Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed, the tour will visit Higashi Honganji Temple or Kitano Temmagu Shrine instead.

Day 7: Kyoto
This morning is at leisure. Evening board your train for Tokyo. Upon arrival, check into your hotel.

Day 8: Tokyo
This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
