Day 4 - Rio / Iguassu Falls
| Fly to Iguassu where you’ll be warmly welcomed and escorted to the Recanto Park Hotel, a bright and contemporary first class hotel with a great location offering fast and easy access to the Falls. This afternoon, join your guide and venture through Brazil’s Iguassu National Park, heading down a series of walkways to great vantage points overlooking the main falls on both the Brazilian and Argentine sides. Day 5 - Iguassu Falls
| Today’s Gran Aventura Boat Tour offers a fantastic overview of Iguassu, from the thunderous roar of the Falls itself to its lush jungle setting. Starting out on the Sendero Yacaratia Trail, travel by jeep deep into the verdant tropical forest as your guide offers insight into the indigenous flora and fauna. At the river’s edge, step aboard motor boats for a thrilling journey through the Iguassu River Canyon to San Martin Island. A short and scenic boat ride brings you to Colonia del Sacramento, an historic city with a rich Portuguese and Spanish heritage that goes back more than 300 years. Marvel at the fine architecture, and stroll cobblestone streets graced by beautifully-preserved Colonial homes and fountains. After lunch, you’ll have leisure time to stroll on your own, delighting in the charm and unique ambience of this captivating town.
