Special Notes:
- Hotels used in conjunction with this package are examples and are subject to changed based on availability at time of booking.
- Departure dates show are the date one would depart the US. Package begins one day later in Italy. When booking land only, please book your airfare accordingly.
- Higher rates apply over Easter and Carnival periods. Supplements may apply upon confirmation of hotels and services. Departures over Easter are not available for 3* Superior or 4* packages.
- Weekend surcharges apply for Venice. If staying in Venice on Friday or Saturday (or both) a supplement will be added to your package.
- Rome City Tax: Effective January 1, 2011, the authorities of Rome have introduced a city tax on all hotels and certain tour services. The new tax requires a contribution of Euro 3 per person per night for 4 and 5 star hotels, or a contribution of Euro 2 per person per night for all other hotel categories. It will be charged and collected by your hotel and service providers. We regret that we are unable to collect this tax in advance or include it in your price.
- Florence City Tax: Effective July 1, 2011, the authorities of Florence have introduced a city tax on all hotels. The new tax requires a contribution of Euro 1 per person per night per hotel star resulting in a charge of Euro 3 per person per night for a 3 star hotel, Euro 4 per person per night for 4 star hotels and so on. It will be charged and collected by your hotel and is payable in cash only. We regret that we are unable to collect this tax in advance or include it in your price.
- Venice City Tax: Effective August 23, 2011, the authorities of Venice have introduced a city tax on all hotels. The new tax requires a contribution of Euro 1 per person per night per hotel star resulting in a charge of Euro 3 per person per night for a 3 star hotel, Euro 4 per person per night for 4 star hotels and so on. It will be charged and collected by your hotel and is payable in cash only. We regret that we are unable to collect this tax in advance or include it in your price.
