The tour guide we had during our bus trip through Spain And Portugal was great. Also, our bus driver was great. The guide was knowledgeable, caring and very helpful in ms y ways.

Tour guide was very disorganized and not helpful with free time activities and finding restaurants making it a very frustrating trip. Hotels were very far from things This entire trip was very unlike previous Globus tours, making me consider a different company.

Be prepared for much time on the bus between cities

The only thing that bother us was two hotels where the air conditioner didn't work properly, the room was hot, hard to sleep. The rest was very good.

The only thing we did not expect is the long bus ride from Barcelona and Madrid. The optional excursion in Madrid which is the dinner and city lights was such a disappointment. The food was not great.

Great overview of Spain and to a lesser degree Portugal. Nice accommodations, great service.

Regarding accommodations: Courtyard by Marriott in Madrid was the worst, it's far by Marriotts standard in the US. Best Hotel is the Marques de Pombal in Lisbon- service & location, the rest are good.

The hotel in Barcelona was in the Business District, and wasn't walking distance to some of the best sights, but it was a nice hotel. The included meal at the hotel had soup that was so SALTY that it bordered on inedible. Many of us at the table used our glass of water to try to dilute it to no avail. The hotel in Madrid was my least favorite-a little rundown-I had a running toilet, the carpet was crushed and looked dirty, but its location was great-walking distance to the riverfront restaurants and shops. The hotel in Lisbon was quite nice as well.

The Globus tour we took was well run. The staff was very informative and friendly.
