Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
We didn't get to walk to take good pictures of things, because we were always on the bus. We had some free time but not enough to go back and get pictures of everything , especially if we had another tour booked later in the day. Most hotels were good, but not all of them. The staff was professional most of the time, but not always friendly.
Paul our tour guide really made the trip
The one hotel room has a bathroom door that wouldn't even close. Some were too small to leave luggage bags open for the night. One didn't offer WiFi in the rooms and what was offered didn't work in the lobby. Some of the tours left you on your own to get get back to your hotel, instructions were given on how to so but at an extra expense. Not enough time given on some sights to be able to take your time to see everything. Sometimes more comfort stops could be used and later starts to the day for leaving.
Well organized tour package
The room at the Holiday Inn in York was in disrepair and had chips/holes in the walls. The room at the Hilton in Bath City was clean except for mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. All other hotels were outstanding. Paul (Tour Guide) and Tony (last name unknown - driver) were fantastic. Paul was full of local information, extremely courteous and planned the times to various attractions to get us there before large crowds. He was extremely personable and overall an AWESOME Tour Guide. We felt very safe with Tony as a driver. He handled some small (not wide) roads so well that it was fun to be a passenger. I HIGHLY recommend both of them.
This was a great trip and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Out tour guide was excellent and made the trip more enjoyable. She had a great depth of knowledge of Ireland, Scotland and England and spiced up the trip with memorable anecdotes. We will return to Globus.
We found the Globus Tours experience has been changed for the worse .. this was our 3rd tour to Europe with them. The Coach was uncomfortable & crowded, plus the ride needed some consideration for passengers to including every 2hr rest stops to get out & stretch our legs, etc. Previously this was a good healthy practice on the other 2 trips.
