Question: When is the best time to see the fall foliage?
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
*Would recommend nametags for first part of the trip. *Time on bus was quite long. *Walking difficulties - sometimes too long. Explain level of activity for elderly. *Degree of difficulty.
The trip description said we were going to visit a wool processing factory. We did not. We were ok not visiting, it should have been deleted from the description.
Our tour director was knowledgeable about everything from the American revolution to geology to plant names. He was also patient, responsible and amusing without being corny. I'd travel again with him in s minute. He made the trip.
Where do I start. The tour had too many people. 52. Because most of the travelers were 70+ it took awhile for those of us at the back of the bus to disembark. 25-35 people would be better. The Marriott and Sheraton hotels were beautiful and well located. The others were located 10-15 min from downtown, and that's if you were a good walker. There was no place to go or see at these hotels unless you booked a taxi. At most hotels I had a great view of a wall or parking lot. The Essex House was supposed to be a culinary school. At a 6:30 seating, we were given a drink at 7:00 (no water). a meal at 7:30 (they knew our choices beforehand), and ran out of the desserts we ordered. They told us thats what we ordered, but we knew better. We continually had to ask for water. Then they charged us for alcohol. a 3 course meal took 2 hrs. Unacceptable!
