Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
I had a wonderful time on the tour. The itinerary was busy but we were able to see so much of Spain. Our tour manager was wonderful. She kept us on schedule and took great care of us. She was very helpful with an issues that came up. She really made the experience great! The local tour guides were all excellent. We learned so much about the history and culture of the areas we visited.
Gate1 one does a great job, this tour exceeded our expectations, mainly because of our tour manager who made sure everyone stayed happy, he truly loves his job!
Diogo, the bus driver and Miguel, the trip guide were great. The Hotels were all up to expectations. The hotel in Lisbon had a hard mattress and somewhat small, but great central location. The Hotel in Barcelona was ok. Wished we ended the tour with a nicer hotel. Maybe one with a pool since we stayed there 3 nights and had a whole free day.
It was a very nice trip. Every thing was perfect.
I was very happy with the way the whole trip went. However, there is one disappointment. The local guide for Alhambra was not exactly interested in providing a service. She went very fast, walked much too fast which made it necessary to speed up without a chance to absorb what we were viewing. I told her to slow down twice but she would not comply. I was looking forward to this visit, and she killed it for me. Also she had a couple of major inaccuracies in her history. Other then that, the trip was more then what I expected.
We would like to express our satisfaction and pleasure with our tour guide; he was utterly fantastic! He really made our trip one of the best ever. He was extremely knowledgeable and knew how to handle our group of travelers. We had a very diverse group of people. We would love to have him again on another trip.
It was my first time with Gate1 and the experience with them was very good. The hotels provided were better than that of other tour companies, locations were most of time in the center on the city, and the rooms were bigger. The tour manager was very organized, patient, and very professional in his dealings. The price was fair.
My first guided travel. I was impressed by Gate1 and Affordable Tours. Would certainly considering working with both in the future (I'm 73).
The only glitch in the itinerary was about the stay in Costa del Sol. It should have been in more detail about the availability of swimming in the sea. Had I known this I would have brought swim trunks. Other than that I was very pleased with my tour. We had a very good tour guide.
Great value for the price. Staff was great.
