DAY 3, Monday - Explore Ho Chi Minh
This morning, embark on a guided tour of Ho Chi Minh, which includes the neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office with its French style architecture, City Hall, and the magnificent Saigon Opera House. From here, visit lively Ben Thanh Market, where an unbelievable assortment of wares and crafts are sold under one roof. Continue to Dong Khoi Street, a major shopping thoroughfare in the center of the city. Then, take a cyclo ride, through the heart of bustling Chinatown. In the evening, attend an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 5:30 PM, followed by a light dinner at the hotel

DAY 4, Tuesday - Full Day in Ho Chi Minh
Today is at leisure to further explore the city on your own or, join the optional half day tour to Cu Chi Tunnels. They were part of an underground tunnel network built by the Viet Cong to control a largely rural area near Saigon. The Cu Chi network includes 125 miles of tunnels with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, weapon factories, hospitals, shelters, and other tunnels

DAY 5, Wednesday - Cruise Embarkation
After breakfast, depart Ho Chi Minh, and travel to Can Tho Pier for your cruise embarkation. Tonight, meet your Cruise Director and enjoy dinner as it sets the mood for your cruise on the mighty Mekong River

DAY 6, Thursday - Long Xuyen Floating Market, An Giang Museum, Tiger Island
In the morning, visit the vibrant Long Xuyen Floating Market. Engage with local vendors, and experience the lively atmosphere. Next, venture to the An Giang Museum, showcasing the diverse cultures, traditions, and historical milestones of the An Giang province. Return to the ship, and continue sailing. The ship docks near Tiger Island from where you head ashore by sampan. Begin the exploration of Tiger Island in a "xe loi," a modified three-wheeled bicycle. Discover the art of plant pot and incense making, and continue with a visit to a site locally known as "Mr. Tiger's Temple" while hearing the story that gave the island its name. Return to the ship and set sail for Vam Nao

DAY 7, Friday - Tan Chau Village
Wake up in Phu Tan district of An Giang province in the Mekong Delta. Tender ashore to visit a craft village, known for its handmade Ca Rang clay stoves. Used for hundreds of years by the southern Vietnamese, these stoves have a unique design which allows them to block the wind, retain heat, and keep ash from dispersing. Return to the ship for lunch and continue cruising towards the village of Tan Chau. Upon arrival, travel by rickshaw to visit the local market, and colorful temple which is the spiritual center for local residents. This evening, watch a traditional Vietnamese lion dance, followed by dinner

DAY 8, Saturday - Day of Cruising
The ship sails towards the Vietnam - Cambodia border. Participate in many onboard activities including a tour of the ship, mini-golf tournament, or simply admire the scenery, as you sail towards Phnom Penh. Arrive late afternoon in the charming capital of Phnom Penh, once known as the "Pearl of the Orient" for its French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and scenic river walk. Before dinner, attend an interesting lecture about Cambodia as well as learn some basic Khmer phrases

DAY 9, Sunday - Phnom Penh City Tour
Hop on a three-wheeled cyclo, and ride to the majestic Royal Palace complex, a compound of Khmer-style structures with gilded spires. These ornate buildings have served as the royal residence of the kings of Cambodia since the 1860s. Within these walls, see the glittering Silver Pagoda with its floor of over 5,000 silver tiles. Next, walk to the nearby National Museum, a masterpiece of Khmer architectural glory, home to over 14,000 historical items, including Khmer art, ceramics, and archaeological treasures. Following lunch, drive to Choeung Ek, one of the mass grave sites of the Killing Fields. The memorial here is dedicated to those who lost their lives in the late 1970s during the Khmer Rouge regime. DAY 13, Thursday - Full Day Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat Tour
Today, explore the architectural masterpieces of Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat, designated as one of the "Seven Wonders of the World." At the fortified city of Angkor Thom visit the Elephants Terrace and Terrace of the Leper King, all adorned with dramatic bas-reliefs. Continue to the mysterious Bayon Temple, highlight of Angkor Thom, replete with beautifully preserved bas-reliefs and more than 172 giant smiling stone faces. On to the monuments of Ta Keo, Prasat Kravan and Srah Srang before arriving at Ta Prohm, where the jungle was left untouched. The high point of the day is the visit to stunning Angkor Wat, a temple dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. World-famous for its beauty and splendor, Angkor Wat has the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the entire outer gallery walls, narrating stories from Hindu mythology.
