Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
Overall the trip was well marketed and delivered. Some of the minor issues include the big discrepancies between hotels in the individual islands. You have a pretty average hotel in Honolulu on the low end and then Hyatt on the other end. The high and lows made it feel like opening a gift box and not knowing what to expect. The other disappointment was with the Honolulu experience. We were given way way way too much time at the Pearl Harbor - 3 hours? There was not enough to do, it was rainy, and the park rangers were very unfriendly and rude. Finally, because of COVID19, Trafalgar has reduced the number of excursions. Therefore, several of us had to research on our own what to do with the many free days on this trip. The big plus of this tour is with the tour director's administration. The whole trip was flawless. We did not have to worry about any logistics. He gave very good tour narration, restaurant recommendations. We were not left stranded or in need. Kudos to Michaels. All in all, the trip is worth the price tag.
This is my second escorted tour with Trafalgar, and I was very pleased with both trips. Our guide had it all: profound knowledge of the 4 Hawaiian islands, great sense of humor, attention to detail, and the ability to arrange everything we needed. I got a great overview of the islands, had some downtime in between the touring trips, and stayed in beautiful places. I was very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend this trip!
