Review: Greece Adventures by Disney Family Vacation

Greece Adventures by Disney

By: Lin Humble, Vice President

My oldest son has a newfound fascination for Greek history so we decided it would be great for him to personally experience Greece for himself and deepen his knowledge and understanding of Greek history and the role it has played in Western Civilization. So my husband and I, along with my two young boys ages 8 and 10 and my mother, decided to take the plunge and travel to Greece. We opted to travel with Adventures by Disney because of their renowned reputation for service and product excellence. Our Greece Adventures by Disney experience met and exceeded any and all expectations.

Review: Family River Cruising With Uniworld

By: Lin F. Humble, MD, Vice President

Uniworld strikes gold with a wealth of activities

This past summer my two boys, ages 8 and 10, joined my mother and I for our first family river cruise. River cruising was a first for me and the boys but my mom, Lucy, had already experienced most river cruise itineraries and river cruise operators. I was a bit apprehensive in not knowing if there would be enough onboard or land-based activity to keep two young, rambunctious boys entertained. I needn’t have worried – the trip was a dream come true.

Review: Canada’s Rockies with Trafalgar

By: Marcie Dasher, Travel Consultant

I live in Houston, Texas so when I first contemplated a getaway from the August heat, I wanted somewhere cool and somewhere I’d never been before. I specialize in and typically take cruises on most of my vacations. I’ve never been on an escorted tour before, so when I decided to try it out. I wanted one that would be easy to get to, with visits to cities not terribly far from each other, as I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about traveling by bus every day. When I found Trafalgar’s Canada’s Rockies, it was the perfect fit. I got to escape 100 degree heat and enjoy summertime outdoors in beautiful 60 degree weather, with breathtaking scenery. Outstanding!

Review: Adventures in the Wild Northwest with Trafalgar

By: Sara Beth Bowen, Certified Senior Travel Associate

My husband hadn’t been to San Francisco before, so we arrived a day early for our tour in order to take in some sights on our own. From China Town to Nob Hill, street car rides to Lombard Street, and Fisherman’s Wharf, we explored the city before we began our tour. The adventure began on Sunday evening with Jason, our expert Travel Director, for a Welcome Reception at the magnificent Hyatt Regency, located across from the old San Francisco ship/ferry terminal in the Embarcadero area.

Review: Austria, Germany & Czech Republic with Adventures by Disney

By: Angel Green, Senior Manager Sales & Marketing Integration

I recently enjoyed a storybook kingdom vacation with Adventures by Disney, where the itinerary included Central Europe (Czech Republic, Austria and Germany). While Adventures by Disney has many guided tours, this particular itinerary is designed for both adults and children 10 years of age and older. This tour was filled with site visits to cathedrals, palaces, castles, medieval villages, ice caves, UNESCO World Heritage sites, galleries, elegant renaissance-era buildings, charming cafes and restaurants. So much history in this region. Hotel stays included 5-star luxury accommodations at the Prague Marriott Hotel, Hotel Edelweiss Berchtesgaden, and the Ritz Carlton. All hotels are centrally located, which allows for great walking tours.
