Last fall, Celebrity Cruises introduced its newest ship, the Solstice-class Celebrity Reflection SM. On a short two day introductory cruise, I sampled the ship’s many delights, including the enhanced AquaSpa, new AquaClass® suites and fine-dining options.
The AquaSpa helps to make the Celebrity Reflection stand out above other cruise lines. Its pristine facility features an infrared sauna, aromatic steam room, cold room, sensory showers and Celebrity’s “modern luxury” take on a traditional Turkish bath. The spa service menu is extensive and has indulgences for everyone to achieve optimal relaxation. This is any true spa lover’s dream come true!
The 24 AquaClass Suites offer the ultimate in pampering, with spa amenities such as aroma scent selections, a bed pillow menu and daily deliveries of bottled water and teas. Plus, guests staying in these suites have priority access to the ship’s mouthwatering Blu specialty restaurant. Not only are the suites beautifully designed, but they are spacious and comfortable. These are perfect accommodations for guests who appreciate indulgence and tranquility.
With culinary options for every palate, the meals aboard the Celebrity Reflection are superb compared to other ships in its category. The ship offers several specialty dining options, including Blu, which focuses on flavorful, healthy options. Blu’s cuisine is imaginative, modern and simply delicious. We left craving more. We also experienced the Lawn Club Grill, which is located on the top decks of the ship with amazing views of the lawn that is ideal for a romantic afternoon picnic. The Lawn Club Grill’s cuisine was out of this world. I do believe I might have tasted one of the best steaks on sea.
We experienced The Bistro on Five on two separate occasions during our twoday cruise—which in itself should tell you how outstanding the food was! The Bistro on Five is a quaint little French café on Deck Five, which is open most of the day. Its open and airy design drew us in the first time; the scrumptious food made us return for a second meal! The menu is full of ingeniously crafted crepes, as well as paninis, soups, salads and delicious desserts.
The Celebrity Reflection staff was friendly and eager to help in every way. The entertainment was also spectacular. My short experience on the Celebrity Reflection definitely left me yearning for more.
I plan on booking a Celebrity Reflection cruise with my husband in the near future. I look forward to the relaxation and serenity that I know I can find on board—a great way to escape from our hectic lives.
