The Riu Palace Jamaica is conveniently located about 10 to 15 minutes away from Montego Bay Sangster International Airport. This is an adult-only property offering all Junior Suite accommodations.
I liked that the rooms offer a complimentary minibar and liquor dispenser as well as coffee machine and free Wifi throughout the resort.
The resort is a beachfront property with 3 swimming pools…2 of them with a swim up bar!
You can relax and enjoy the sun or take part of the multiple fun activities the resort has to offer, such as water aerobics, games, beach or water volleyball or watersports!
Riu palace Jamaica has of course a wonderful breakfast buffet with omelets made to order, Jamaican specialties, fresh fruits, cold meats and pastries.
For lunch you can enjoy the famous Jerk chicken as well as other delicious Jamaican dishes or burgers and salads!

At dinner time the buffet selection will change every night offering a wide variety for everyone! You can also enjoy their specialty dining restaurants! The Steakhouse, the Italian restaurant, the Japanese restaurant or “Krystal” their Fusion restaurant.
And of course throughout the day, bars and swim bars are open! All offering premium liquors and the favorite cocktails including the famous “Bob Marley”
Staying at the Riu Palace Jamaica also gives you access to the other 2 Riu properties next door. The Riu Montego Bay (family property) and the Riu Reggae (Adult-Only property).
That means, as a guest at the Riu Palace you can enjoy all activities and amenities offered at the other 2 sister properties, like the evening shows and dancing.
