“New life goal: do everything”. I saw this on the G Adventures website a few years ago, and I thought to myself…What a great idea! I can see the world or I can hike, bike, trek and multisport my way through it. And this is how I caught the Active Travel Bug.

My first adventurous trip with G Adventures (Kilimanjaro- Lemosho Route & Serengeti Adventure) was so amazing, that my husband and I decided to check another destination- South America. We chose “Argentina Multisport With G Adventures,” as this tour combined two super fun itineraries and it included two places from our bucket list- Patagonia and Aconcagua, the highest mountain within the Americas.

We started our Argentina multisport with G Adventures in Buenos Aires, and from there, we flew to Mendoza, where our multisport adventure started. We took a six-hour trek to Aconcagua’s first base camp with beautiful views of the largest mountain in the Americas.

We cycled through vineyards, stopping at different wineries to sample the world- famous Malbec and local cheeses. From Mendoza, we took an overnight bus to Bariloche, where our outdoor enthusiast’s dream came true. We had an opportunity to enjoy whitewater rafting on class III and IV rapids, kayaking, and horseback riding.

Our next stop was El Chalten and Glacier National Park. So many things to do there! We absolutely loved all activities there, like a full- day guided hike to Laguna de los Tres, paddling down Class III rapids, a boat ride on the lake to get closer to the glacier, and horseback riding in Estancia Nibepo Aike. Our two week Argentina multisport with G Adventures ended in Buenos Aires, where we had another day to relax before heading back home.

I recommend G Adventure tours for anyone who is planning an active, adventurous and incredible experience. Their service was top- notch from start to finish. They offer alternative ways to travel- stepping off the beaten path, authentic accommodations, and local transportation. Tour adventures with G Adventures gets you closer to the destination by letting you hike, bike, and multisport your way all over it. G Adventures provided the equipment, experts, and the opportunity.

You can choose from different trip styles and service levels designed to meet all tastes, ages and budgets and there are never more than 16 people on each trip.

They have lifetime deposits that you can even pass on to a friend and 100% of their departures are guaranteed to run.

G Adventure tours are solo traveler friendly because over half of their guests are solo travelers. They will even match you with another solo traveler so you won’t have to pay a single supplement. They do have the optional “my own room” if single travelers want to stay solo.
