Continue readingI have just returned from National Park Wonders with Trafalgar with my friend from grad school, Douglas. I chose this tour because it had a very nice itinerary of the North American National Parks and included Yellowstone, which has been something on my travel list for a long time.
Snapping pictures in front of places you’ve been is one of the best ways to remember your journey. Everyone loves to comb through pictures and share their best shots with their friends and family, to inspire them to travel as well. When friends heard that my good friend and work colleague, Aga Olewinska, and I were going to see Mackinac Island, the common response was “Macki- what?” Others asked, “where is that?” When I answered Michigan, they said “Of all places, why there?” I said, “Why not?”
The national park system is a treasure of wildlife, unbelievable landscapes and American history. This was our destination this past summer. My 11 year old son and I wanted to experience this since he’s been learning about a lot of these places at school. We chose to travel on a family tour, Wild West Cowboys and Buffalos with Trafalgar.
