My family and I had the opportunity to go on The Rhine, Swiss Alps and Amsterdam with Tauck in September. It was a wonderful trip, and definitely up to Tauck’s second to none standards. After flying into Zurich, Switzerland, we were transferred (complementary) by Tauck to the capital city of Bern. The hotel Tauck uses is the Bellevue Palace Bern and is in the old quarter of the city, next door to the parliament building. Bern is one of the most beautiful, classically European cities I have ever been in. The view from the back porch of the hotel was amazing.

Review: Romantic Rhine With Avalon Waterways

When I opted to take a trip, I gravitated toward the Globus family of brands. They’ve been in the business over 90 years and, from a customer service standpoint, they’re a standout. I would be traveling with my mom and wanted the experience to be as stress-free as possible.
