Our  Sightseeing on the Danube with Ama Waterways river cruise journey started at Houston Intercontinental Airport, Air France, on a nonstop flight to Paris. Expecting knees to my chin, an eight hour flight in a sardine can, WOW!  Comfortable seats, legs stretched out and I was out in three minutes, comfy with my pillow and blanket that was already on the seat when we boarded.  It was a full service flight, complete with meals, drinks, etc.

Review: Prague, Vienna, and Budapest with Trafalgar

In recent years, Prague, Vienna, and Budapest are three European capital cities that have gained popularity with travelers and I can see why. If you are looking for a tour that is not fast paced and that has plenty of time to explore, the Prague, Vienna, Budapest with Trafalgar  tour is the perfect option. I really enjoyed spending 3 nights in each city because I did not have to pack and unpack every day. All the hotels on this trip were centrally located in the town centers and breakfast was made to feed a king! My touring experience in each city was an eye opener and I truly appreciated learning about their culture and cuisine.

Review: Southern Italy and Sicily with Trafalgar

Bonjourno! The Sicily and Southern Italy with Trafalgar tour provided me with insights in to the Italian language, culture, history, food, and their beautiful amazing landscaping and coastline.

Our Italy with Trafalgar tour started with an evening orientation drive through the city to see St. Peter’s basilica in the Vatican City, an independent state with some of the world’s most extra-ordinary art and antiques. This day ended with a welcome reception where we had an opportunity to meet and greet our fellow travelers at a lovely, underground, carved rock restaurant.
