There are things that undeniably define a country and Spain has more than its fair share. Hailing everything from ice-capped mountains, green lands, arid zones, sandy beaches, culture, friendly locals, historical sites, narrow streets, grand display of art and architecture. Plus, not forgetting the country’s great cuisines from the Basque province, Catalonia in the North, Madrid to Andalusia South of Spain that are full of aroma and mouth savoring tastes. Day 1/2 Arrive Los Angeles -Transfer to Long Beach

Our Southern California with Globus tour started out with a two-night stay it the Renaissance Hotel in Long Beach, CA. The highlight of this day, was when we boarded a high-speed ferry for an hour, that took us to Catalina Island. This included an island tour in an open air vehicle, and a day at leisure to shop, relax, and sample some local seafood at the pier in Avalon.

History, culture, architecture, and gastronomy; Sicily has it all condensed in one beautiful island. These were some of the biggest reasons why we chose to take The Sicilian with Globus tour. When I told others that we were taking this tour, they asked, “didn’t you already go to Italy (referring to the mainland)?” Italians from all different regions of the country have a strong sense of identity and any of them will tell you that Sicily is not the same as the other regions. Choosing a tour can be a fun experience. Trying to imagine what each tour will be like and wondering which one will be the best choice for you. My husband and I wanted to travel with Globus this time and find the right tour for us in the United States. Because I have so many customers that travel with Globus and always want to repeat their great experiences as past client travelers, I wanted to see for myself if we would feel the same.
