Review: The Rhine, Swiss Alps And Amsterdam With Tauck

My family and I had the opportunity to go on The Rhine, Swiss Alps and Amsterdam with Tauck in September. It was a wonderful trip, and definitely up to Tauck’s second to none standards. After flying into Zurich, Switzerland, we were transferred (complementary) by Tauck to the capital city of Bern. The hotel Tauck uses is the Bellevue Palace Bern and is in the old quarter of the city, next door to the parliament building. Bern is one of the most beautiful, classically European cities I have ever been in. The view from the back porch of the hotel was amazing.

I decided to step outside the box and plan my first trip to Europe. For 20 years, I had never really traveled much. On top of that, I had never traveled on my own, so what I was about to do was beyond my comfort level.
