The performers were amazing. I happened to be one of the guests selected to go on stage and dance with the performers!

“New life goal: do everything”. I saw this on the G Adventures website a few years ago, and I thought to myself…What a great idea! I can see the world or I can hike, bike, trek and multisport my way through it. And this is how I caught the Active Travel Bug.
Wow! I just knew this Antarctica expedition cruise with Ponant was going to be the trip of a lifetime filled with surprises and wonders I couldn’t even imagine or anticipate, and boy was I right! This was my first expedition cruise and it will not be my last.
The Galapagos are a small archipelago off the western coast of South America. From shorelines draped in mangroves, to rugged volcanic rocks, no two islands are the same. The Galapagos is famed as an incredible place for wildlife sighting opportunities because of the islandâs isolation. The uniquely diverse local wildlife never developed a fear of humans, so travelers can get up close and personal with giant tortoises, marine iguanas, Darwinâs finches, blue-footed boobies, and small Galapagos penguins.
