The Taj Mahal is a 17th-century mausoleum that is made of white marble. It was built by an emperor named Shah Jahan for his late wife and is considered one of the most breathtaking architectural pieces in the entire world. The outside of the building is truly unique. There are elaborate decorations in the form of carvings all around its exterior. The inside is just as intricate and gorgeous. There is a time limit when you visit the Taj Mahal, which is usually 3 hours. Use your time wisely!. To enter the Taj Mahal, you must dress modestly. Usually, everyone should have at least their shoulders and knees covered. This isn't strictly enforced but is what's seen as most appropriate. When you enter, you'll be given shoe coverings you must wear while visiting. 
Explore Angkor Wat
Angkor Wat is a massive Hindu temple located on 402 acres of land. Because of its enormous size, it's one of the largest religious buildings and monuments worldwide. It was built in the 12th century and is located in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Angkor Wat is dedicated to Vishnu, the Hindu god who protects the universe. It was abandoned for an unknown reason during the 15th century, though most historians believe that it was due to a hurricane or other natural disaster. Despite its age, Angkor Wat is still mostly intact today and is an absolute must-visit when traveling to Asia.

Wear sturdy walking shoes. Because Angkor Wat is massive, your feet may hurt by the end of exploring. Plus, you may have to do some climbing!. To avoid crowds and get the perfect photo of Angkor Wat, visit right at 5 a.m. 
See history in Petra
Petra is one of the most world-famous archaeological sites located in Jordan. It was built back in 300 BC and consists of buildings, temples, and other structures carved into rocks. It's often called the "Rock City" and served as the Nabatean Kingdom's capital. The most popular place to visit in Petra is a temple called Al Khazneh. It's also referred to as The Treasury. View the jaw-dropping Chocolate Hills
The Chocolate Hills are located in the Philippines. They're a gorgeous geological formation made up of around 1,800 hills! The hills are generally green throughout the year, but when the country sees less rain, they turn brown, which is why they are called the Chocolate Hills. This genuinely unique landscape covers over 1,000 acres of land, so you can see Chocolate Hills for as far as your eye can see. Though they may look human-made, they are entirely natural, which only adds to their allure. It's said that the hills were formed due to limestone moving throughout the years and weather and erosion that occurred here.

To avoid the crowds, you'll want to visit either right in the morning or late at night. 
Walk part of the Great Wall of China
The Great Wall of China is a fortification and popular place to visit that runs on around 13,000 miles. The wall's construction began in 221 BC under Emperor Qin Shi Huang, though it has gone through a few restoration periods since then. Most people who helped to build the wall, at the time, were either felons or soldiers. If you were to walk the Great Wall of China from beginning to end, it would take around 18 months. That's why visitors often opt to walk just a small portion of this wall, one of the 7 Wonders of the World.

Some sections of the Great Wall of China are considerably steep. It's best to research to find which part of the wall is best for your athletic abilities before visiting. 
Get breathtaking views from the Burj Khalifa
The Burj Khalifa is a 163-floor skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is the tallest skyscraper in the world, standing at 2,722 feet! It was built in 2009 and is an architectural marvel; it indeed looks like something futuristic. Visitors are now welcome to visit the Burj Khalifa and see some of its amazing views from the observation decks. Prices range depending on which floor's observation deck you opt to book. There is also the Al Shindagha Museum, Eithad Museum, and Dubai Fountain in the building.

See Mount Fuji
Mount Fuji is a breathtaking active volcano located in Japan. Though it's still active, it last erupted back in 1707. It stands at around 12,388 feet, and many locals refer to it as Fuji-San. There are many places throughout Japan to get breathtaking views of the mountain. Some of these spots include lookout platforms (like Koyo-Dai and Sanko-Dai) or the Fuji Five Lakes. If you visit Tokyo, it's only a short drive to get a great view of Mount Fuji!

You can also climb Mount Fuji, but this is best done during the summer months. It's considered an easy climb for advanced hikers though it can be quite steep.

Bali is one of Indonesia's most well-known islands for its breathtaking beaches, temples, and mountains. There are many resort towns here, in addition to retreats, so it's truly the best place to come to relax. Some of the best places to visit the beach in Bali include Kuta, Jimbaran, and Canggu. Lovina Beach is also gorgeous and has a waterfall and hot springs that look like paradise on earth. No matter what beach you visit, you're bound to have a fantastic time.

It's not safe to drink the tap water, so make sure you purchase bottled water. If you want a cheap massage, Bali is the place to do it!
Spring and Fall - October to November and March to April - Shoulder Season
The shoulder seasons have a decent amount of visitors, but prices are relatively still great. The average temperature during this time is generally between 68°F and 77°F. Different parts of the continent will have slightly different weather depending on the time of year!
Summer - May to September - Low Season
Asia's weather ranges drastically throughout the summer. The northern region averages around 50°F while the southern region is closer to 100°F with lots of humidity. A lot of people don't visit during this time because of the weather. Prices will generally be lower if you visit during the summer.
Winter - December to February - High Season
Similar to the summer months, the winter weather ranges. You can expect snow in some countries with average temperatures around 40°F, while other places will stay generally warmer, around 55°F to 60°F. Because this is the high season, prices will be the highest that they'll be throughout the year.
