Lydgate Farms Kauai Chocolate
A locally, family-owned chocolate farm; their recipe is a well-kept secret and one you can come out and learn more about. In addition to the cacao that they grow, they also grow vanilla and honey on the same land. Tastings are welcome and you can purchase some to bring home with you.

Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden
This Scientific and Educational non-profit garden is a nature preserve and sanctuary for the wildlife that has found themselves here and now call it home. They have a living seed bank, study center, and more. Those interested in the beautiful views and educational materials can visit during open visiting hours.
BEST TIME TO VISIT Any points in the year are ideal to visit this area since the gardens change with the seasons. Those who visit usually do so when the weather is warmer, but not hot. This makes it more comfortable to walk through, especially with the moisture in the area.
YOU SHOULD KNOW There is a $20 admission fee. The walkways are steep, so make sure to wear sturdy, comfortable shoes. May not be as entertaining for children or younger teens.
Kona Cloud Forest
