The cruise was excellent. Great itinerary, clean ship and good food. Service was impeccable
We adventured into taking a cruise (Norwegian Sky) in the south China seas touring the eastern islands, an area where we had no experience. The experience was enlightening, felt safe all the way. Only the tour guides we had in Vietnam were disappointing with their weak performance english knowledge, but must give then an 8 out of 10 for their efforts
This Norwegian cruise was an excellent choice if you want to see the major Caribbean islands. Starting at San Juan's port and a 7 day trip to other islands. Well worth the time and money spent.
Really enjoyed the cruise and all of the perks we had, great itinerary.
Loved our cruise and have already thought about another cruise in September 2025. I wouldn't necessarily get an inside cabin again. It was actually larger than I thought it would be but still small for two adults trying to navigate around each other.
The cruise on Norwegian Gem was very enjoyable. The crew and staff were professional. The accommodations were as expected and comfortable. The food was good and plentiful. The boarding and disembarking were quick and professional. Overall it was a great experience
Cruise organization was perfect. However, compared to cruise ships NCL’s Bliss, Breakaway, Viva and Jade that I travelled in during the previous 12 month period, the Garden Cafe Complementary was much smaller in size and food items available were of fewer variety. I particularly noticed that Indian food was only restricted to a few cheap South Indian and vegetarian items. There were no seafood, chicken or lamb items, which is liked by a majority of passengers. There was no decorations at restaurants using fruit and vegetable sculptures. The services were equal to any other NCL cruiseships I travelled in. I shall continue to use NCL for my cruisings in the future.
We enjoyed our trip. Everything went smoothly. Thank you.
Really enjoyed our New England and Canada tour with the Norwegian Breakaway. Our agent did a great job helping us to book this tour.
We have booked our cruises through our agent for the last six years. She is very professional and helpful. She gets back to us quickly. Our only problem is that we need more money to do more traveling. We have been cruising on Norwegian because of the open dining option. We can pack less clothes and not worry about getting to a restaurant each and every night at the exact same time. We love that freedom to choose where we will be dining each night.
Nice trip, well run by NCL.
Our trip was great.
NCL and staff were exceptional. The NCL itinerary was very efficient, very busy and very enjoyable. We got to see much of Italy and Greece. My only complaint is that our tourist locations have gotten so crowded, they are not as enjoyable as in the past. We did many of the same destinations in July 2011, and there were far fewer tourists and we were able to enter many of the iconic monuments and sites. This time we could not..
The reason we like cruising with Norwegian is the open dining rooms. We like to eat when it's convenient for us. And we don't have to pack extra clothes for "formal" night, etc. We like the perks we receive with Norwegian also. We get specialty dining packages, unlimited beverages. What's not to love?
Our guides and bus driver were wonderful. Amazing vacation
This Mediterranean Cruise was an interesting and well organized tour of several ports and nearby cities in Greece, Turkey, Itally and France.
We had a great time! This was a fantastic cruise!
Everything was good except some ethnic food. Per my experience with two cruises in NCL Bliss and one in NCL Breakaway, the Indian food served here lacked in variety and quality. Also, same items, such as Beef keema matar was served only for beef eaters. An alternative meat like chicken or lamb could have been replaced beef for non-beef eaters for once. Otherwise food was good.
Everything was great. I will watch the age of ships on future bookings. The staff onboard was superb.
The NCL Pride of America cruise is a great way to see the Hawaiian Islands. The ship travels at night so you have all day to see the sights. The ship is not the newest and does not have a casino or the water slides of the new super ships but it is clean and comfortable
This comment refers to my earlier trip. NCL’s cruisenext of the Bliss ship gave me a wrong impression of using cruisenext credit. This caused some confusion during payment of my future cruise, and frustration that I could not use two cruisenext credits to a single booking. One other comment I have is on the Garden Cafe restaurant in the Breakaway. The Indian food section was inferior to the same restaurant in the Bliss. The items served were not well selected and did not sometimes coorditate with the other foods.
We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. The food was very good, and the ports we visited were top notch! The only real complaint about the ship was we couldn't use the pool or hot tub as they were too busy, and if you didn't want to drink alcohol all day, it was hard to get a glass of water, except on 2 or 3 floors. Also, if you are diabetic, the only drinks you can have is water, tea, or coffee. They did though provide NSA (No Sugar Added) deserts, I didn't realize what that meant untill into day 5.
This ship was a little older than others in the Norwegian line. Our cabin had a very tall bathtub to climb over.
Great Trip on Norwegian Prima!
Good service and friendly crews.
Very organized company. Safety, cleanliness, entertaining, multiple choices to fit everybody.
NCL Prima had no chapel or Masses even though the cruise was for 15 days that included 2 Sundays and one Holy Day (Feast of the Immaculate Conception)
This was our first cruise and we liked it so much we took advantage of Norwegian's CruiseNext program while onboard. They essentially double your money toward future bookings. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Can't wait for the next one!
This trip was a wonderful experience. I liked the cruiseline, and would surely book with it. I even have another cruise coming up with this cruise line in December. But unfortunately it will be the same cruise-ship. I shall be needing Affordable's help in the near future to find another cruise with the same cruise line.
My Iceland, Norway cruise ship was absolutely fabulous. It was a dream come true.
Nice trip. Thanks for the onboard credit.
Fabulous cruise!
We had a great time on our NCL Getaway Bermuda/ Bahamas Cruise. We want to go to another cruise with NCL again soon (and we are not retired yet) as schedule allow.
This was a great choice for seeing the Panama Canal. NCL always does a great job.
The ship is well maintained, clean and well staffed. Everyone is so cordial and helpful and always greet you with a smile.
We love cruising with Norwegian. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the food is really good and plentiful, and the excursions are really nice. My only complaint would be that internet is basically a utility now, like water or electricity. Hopefully in the future, at least the basic, non-streaming internet could be included in the price of the cruise.
Our agent listened and then offered the perfect vacation package for me. He found the NCL cruise for the date and price and then even chose the cabin! My trip was a delight. He is much appreciated. A highlight of the NCL cruise was providing a host for the solo travelers. We were a congenial group that enjoyed sharing the experiences of the day with our excursions, and conversation and company every evening for dinner for those who wanted to participate. It was definitely a plus for NCL!
Wonderful Cruise, staff and accommodations!!!!
Everything met or exceeded my expectations
The NCL transatlantic cruise Rome to NY met every expectation aboard the Escape. Have sailed many times and the crew this trip was the most friendly we've ever experienced.
The staff on the NCL Breakaway were friendly and helpful. As usual, the Haven is the preferred place to be...well worth the extra dollars for priority everything.
Excellent service and all plans fulfilled
This was a good cruise for an entire family. However, when just the two of us cruise we prefer other cruise lines.
The only snag was weather related late departure which affected the amount of time spent during port visist.
The staff customer service is Excellent they made you feel sooo welcome throughout the whole experience! Yes, I will most definitely cruise with Norwegian again in the future.
We found NCL to be comparable to Royal Caribbean, overall, though each cruise line tended to excel and lead its counterpart in certain categories. For example, the dining options and quality of food of NCL were slightly better than RCI's. Likewise, public accommodations, i.e., entertainment, games/shows/experiences of NCL were a cut above RCI's. Conversely, we found RCI's shore excursions to be somewhat better than NCL's. All in all, we feel we would have enjoyed our Panama Canal cruise with either.
The Norwegian Dawn's architecture is lacking in comfortable areas to just sit and relax. Every inch is either a bar, restaurant, casino, or shop. This leads to a subtle pressure to spend money or drink. There was a distinct lack of cultural activities during the cruise. On past cruises they offered lectures on the locations that we were visiting without trying to sell us merchandise. We has a library that offered a view of the ocean while enjoying a book. On the Dawn the library is internal, small, and not really serious. My last criticism is that the ship was unable to maintain the air-conditioning in my cabin. Three of the eleven nights were spent with unacceptable heat. On the positive side, the staff and crew were exceptional. We had an upgrade that came with a cabin assistant, butler, and concierge. Our butler and cabin assistant were exceptionally attentive. They worked hard to make us comfortable and well fed. The concierge was somewhat less present, and in the end he never learned mine and my sister's names and all his communications were incorrectly addressed as a married couple with my sister\'s last name. In general, the food across the restaurants was excellent. In all the meals there were only two dishes that weren't up to expectations. The Moderno Churrascaria was exceptional, and the French specialty restaurant, Le Bistro, was beautiful with very interesting and tasty food. The cruise itinerary was good. The selection of ports was a good blend of similar but different West Indies ports along with US territories. In conclusion, this cruise really only suffered by comparison. If I'd had no previous experience, then this cruise would have been as magical as others. NCL is a fine cruise line that has handled COVID protocols extremely well both pre-boarding and while sanitizing on board. My issues are personal preferences aside from the AC malfunction.
The cruise was very good, but we expected more variety in the on-board events, particularly during the at sea days. The talks were just to sell cruises and jewelry. The trivia games were fun, but they could have given a prize worth a couple of dollars, maybe even a t-shirt. The food was excellent, especially in all of the sit-down restaurants. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of all parts of the ship and the tremendous effort by the crew to constantly clean and sanitize. They even immediately picked up small pieces of paper on the carpets. The cabin steward was very attentive and pleasant.
I hadn't been on a cruise in 4 years before I booked this cruise and was glad I did the crew was wonderful and very pleasant look forward to booking a cruise for next year

We have taken several cruises on Norwegian, but this is our first time on one of the new Prima class ships. All I can say is "Wow!". We loved the new design with more intimate spaces for people to gather. The ship seems much less crowded with more spots for people to spread out. Being on this ship will make it difficult to go back to one of the older ships.
