The referred booking must be from a guest who has not previously sailed with Silversea, and is a friend or family member of the Venetian Society member. Sharing the Venetian Society member number in public forums or social media or with people who are not friends to use, constitutes an improper use of the Referral Promotion. This may result in the revocation of referral savings. The Venetian Society Members will receive a referral savings amount of $500 per booking (suite), or $1,500 per booking (suite) for referring a full World Cruise or $1,000 per booking (suite) for referring a full Grand Voyage, as applicable, ("Referral Savings"), to be applied to a booking of the Venetian Society member' choice. The Venetian Society Member’s referred friends will also receive the same savings for their new referred booking. Friend referrals can be made by sharing the Venetian Society member number and full name with the friend, and the friend shall present this information at the time of booking to a Travel Advisor or Silversea Cruise Consultant. Venetian Society members can also refer online by completing the online referral form available on My.Silversea.com. Promotion also applies to single-occupancy bookings. To qualify for the Referral Promotion new bookings must be made within the Promotion Window and they must be referred within 21 days of the booking being created with a paid deposit, if not done at time of booking. Referral Savings must be used within 12 months of issuance of the savings. Referrer must make a booking within that time.

Health and Safety Protocols

Everything Silversea does, onboard and on land, is about safeguarding the guests and crew. Silversea ships provide a worry-free vacation! Here are some steps we are taking to ensure we keep you healthy. Silverseay has developed a comprehensive plan to respond to COVID-19 situations, just in case. Preparedness is key! If someone should fall ill or display symptoms while sailing, Silversea has rigorous protocols in place, including intensified cleaning, air filtration, and sanitizing procedures and medical isolation. Each ship has reviewed their inventory and are all well-equipped with supplies and personal protective equipment, such as masks and medicine.


Along with a team of medical experts and guidance from health organizations, Silversea is monitoring the situation and either canceling or modifying itineraries to impacted areas.


At the pier, all guests participate in mandatory screenings that include exclusion due to travel based on temporary restrictions and even a thermal scan to check everyone's temperature. Some guests may be subject to a secondary review. Dependent of screening results, some guests may be denied boarding to ensure Silversea is keep their ships healthy and safe.


Before and after all sailings, the cruise terminal is thoroughly sanitized. And, boarding, each ship undergoes deep sanitation using industry-standard cleaners proven to combat bacteria & viruses.


With the guidance of the World Health Organization and U.S. Centers for Disease Control, all ships across the entire Silversea International fleet have elevated sanitation procedures. Key areas, which include public venues & restrooms, are sanitized approximately every 30 minutes.


One of the best ways to stay healthy is to keep your hands clean. So, Silversea has increased the availability of hand sanitizer stations and continue to enforce hand cleansing at all food venues onboard. Hand sanitizers are effective against a broad number of pathogens, including Coronavirus COVID-19.


Silversea has rigorous medical protocols in place to help those who aren’t feeling well, like complimentary medical consultations for guests with fever or flu-like symptoms, medical isolation when warranted, and intensified ship cleaning, air filtration, and sanitization procedures.


Guest staterooms are thoroughly cleaned twice a day. During instances that guests display flu-like symptoms, their stateroom will receive an additional deep-cleaning.


During each sailing, the Captain makes two announcements each day to remind guests to wash their hands often, use recommended coughing etiquette, and to report any high fever or flu-like illness symptoms immediately.

Question: How can I communicate with my family and friends at home when I am on the cruise?

Telephone service can be quite expensive and the service may be spotty. However, Wi-Fi services are also becoming the standard though access may come with a fee. You can view rates once you register for the cruise. Some stateroom categories and loyalty program benefit levels will offer a generous amount of "Wi-Fi Time", access to the ship's internet cafe or both.

The services provided by the staff on Silversea were exceptional. We will definitely look to planning another cruise with them

The entire cruise experience was really beyond our expectations. The restaurants on board the Silver Dawn were exceptional. The crew at all levels were professional and accommodating. When traveling overseas one does need to be flexible as itineraries and protocols change regarding Covid regulations. We felt that Silverseas handled this issue to our satisfaction.

It was a wonderful cruise. How nice to be traveling again. Food was very good and the room was spacious. Covid protocols were in place and we didn't feel exposed.

Marcie at Affordable Tours was great and the trip itself was the best cruise we have taken ,,,great food and great service and wonderful room !!

Silversea never did provide useful and requested details of the Peru pre-cruise excursion, but it did turn out well. The only exception was that they failed to include us on the list for airport transfers to and from the day hotel in Guayaquil and said we had not paid for these transfers or the day room - which we had.

Silver Seas is better than it was 4 years ago when we left them for Seabourn. Suites are roomy and nice . They have 2 restaurants where you must pay extra for dinners, and that we did not like. Entertainment is so-so.

We were on the Silversea Cloud to Antarctica and it was a trip of a lifetime. It was our first time on Silversea and a first class experience all the way. A trip to Antarctica requires lots of flexibility in scheduling and Silversea has that down to a science. They went out of their way to make sure we experienced all we could - we saw all kinds of seals, thousands of penguins, and several whales. Our weather was perfect and our pictures are extraordinary. We highly, highly recommend a trip to Antarctica, but make sure it is on a small enough ship to allow for shore expeditions.
