Health and Safety Protocols

Everything Royal Caribbean does, onboard and on land, is about safeguarding the guests and crew. Royal Caribbean ships provide a worry-free vacation! Here are some steps we are taking to ensure we keep you healthy. Royal Caribbeany has developed a comprehensive plan to respond to COVID-19 situations, just in case. Preparedness is key! If someone should fall ill or display symptoms while sailing, Royal Caribbean has rigorous protocols in place, including intensified cleaning, air filtration, and sanitizing procedures and medical isolation. Each ship has reviewed their inventory and are all well-equipped with supplies and personal protective equipment, such as masks and medicine.

REDUCED TRAVEL TO IMPACTED COUNTRIES

Along with a team of medical experts and guidance from health organizations, Royal Caribbean is monitoring the situation and either canceling or modifying itineraries to impacted areas.

ENHANCED BOARDING SCREENING

At the pier, all guests participate in mandatory screenings that include exclusion due to travel based on temporary restrictions and even a thermal scan to check everyone's temperature. Some guests may be subject to a secondary review. Dependent of screening results, some guests may be denied boarding to ensure Royal Caribbean is keep their ships healthy and safe.

HEIGHTENED SANITATION AT CRUISE TERMINALS

Before and after all sailings, the cruise terminal is thoroughly sanitized. And, boarding, each ship undergoes deep sanitation using industry-standard cleaners proven to combat bacteria & viruses.

ADDITIONAL SANITATION SAFEGUARDS ONBOARD SHIPS

With the guidance of the World Health Organization and U.S. Centers for Disease Control, all ships across the entire Royal Caribbean International fleet have elevated sanitation procedures. Key areas, which include public venues & restrooms, are sanitized approximately every 30 minutes.

HAND SANITIZERS EVERYWHERE

One of the best ways to stay healthy is to keep your hands clean. So, Royal Caribbean has increased the availability of hand sanitizer stations and continue to enforce hand cleansing at all food venues onboard. Hand sanitizers are effective against a broad number of pathogens, including Coronavirus COVID-19.

ENHANCED MEDICAL PROTOCOLS

Royal Caribbean has rigorous medical protocols in place to help those who aren’t feeling well, like complimentary medical consultations for guests with fever or flu-like symptoms, medical isolation when warranted, and intensified ship cleaning, air filtration, and sanitization procedures.

STATEROOM CLEANLINESS

Guest staterooms are thoroughly cleaned twice a day. During instances that guests display flu-like symptoms, their stateroom will receive an additional deep-cleaning.

DAILY HEALTH UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENTS

During each sailing, the Captain makes two announcements each day to remind guests to wash their hands often, use recommended coughing etiquette, and to report any high fever or flu-like illness symptoms immediately.

Question: How can I communicate with my family and friends at home when I am on the cruise?

Telephone service can be quite expensive and the service may be spotty. However, Wi-Fi services are also becoming the standard though access may come with a fee. You can view rates once you register for the cruise. Some stateroom categories and loyalty program benefit levels will offer a generous amount of "Wi-Fi Time", access to the ship's internet cafe or both.

Megan was amazing! She always answered ina timely manner and was always so very helpful! I would book with her and the company anytime!!

Royal Caribbean was a very nice boat and staff.

Dawn always hits a home run with her quotes! Our first cruise with 2 of our grandchildren was perfect! Strongly recommend her!

Just fantastic. Food (the free stuff) for dinnertime a bit short of my needs but paying extra helped a lot.

Trip as expecteed. Tours in ports were excellent. Extremely friendly staff. Furious however with guest relations desk. Had $100 in onboard credit and had prepaid the tours. They cancelled one i paid for so i bought a different one on my account and asked if i could use it and my for tips against my onpoard credit so as to use it up. They said yes and i asked 2 more times to confirm it and they said yes. Online bill showed a 150.00 refund after onboad credits were used up. But when i got my final bill a few hours before departure they show unused $50.60 or so unused onboard credit which i could not use since all shops closed. They also credited a $2.40 port charge the late last night and put it toward onboard credits without telling you so there is no way to spend it therefore you forfit it.Did argue to get that back but not my other onboard credit of $48.20 was forfited I did not get them to budge on that. Was mad and felt lied to.

Our cruise was wonderful. I would highly recommend Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. T

We were especially pleased with the hotel in Rome, with the smaller sized tour groups and the leaders of the tours. Rather than being herded into big buses we enjoyed personal contact and guidance.

With this being my first cruise and not knowing what to expect, affordable tours was great with all my booking needs and questions. This cruise I would say is one of te best I ever took and definately would recommend affordable tours to friends and family.

Our agent certainly put us on the right cruise. My wife and I had a great cruise. We took my 88 year old mother along, and our room and the ship were well equipped to handle her wheelchair.
