Question: How can I communicate with my family and friends at home when I am on the cruise?

As usual with a Viking Cruise, we felt pampered by the entire staff on the ship. They went out of their way to make us happy. The ship was gorgeous, spotless clean, and perfectly deigned. The food was wonderful, and always presented in an appealing way. I had heard that the Great Lakes were sometimes rough, so I was worried about getting seasick. On the Octantis we could hardly feel that the ship was moving because the ride was so smooth, and at night the ship is very quiet, and rooms seem soundproof..we did not hear our neighbors at all. In all it was a great cruise.

Mr Steves was very helpful and on top of every request and concern. The Viking cruise was outstanding. The personnel was totally outstanding with the desire to ensuring our cruise was something we would never forget. When we are ready for another cruise we will ensure it will be with Viking. I don't believe you can match viking's staff with any other cruise staff. They knew every passage and ensured we had a totally outstanding experience.
