Hermanus is a town in the coast of South Africa located in the Western Cape. It is famous for whale watching its Southern Right whales, during the winter and spring. There is a whale museum which explains the history of whaling in Hermanus. The Grotto Beach is proclaimed as a "Blue flag" beach and is considered as a World Heritage Site.
