One of the three main ports in Latvia is Riga. The other two are Ventspils and Lepaja. A vast majority of transits go through these ports. Lativa is the main route through the Baltic Sea for transit trade. There are also small ports in Latvia that handle smaller ships, fishing, and wood products. Riga is located on a 10 mile stretch along the Daugava River.
