Overview

Itea meaning willow, is a town and a municipality located in the southeastern part of the prefecture of Phokida . It is located in the  south which connects Antirio with the Rio-Antirio bridgeand Iteaalong with, Amfissa and Livadeia with a junction in the north. It is located about south of Itea and about south Amfissa. The majority of the population live in Itea. Itea has a school,  a gymnasium, a church, a post office, banks, a hotel, and a square plateau which is located north and the port is in the central part and aligning within the residential area. The area around Itea is situated in a plain filled with farms and groves which connects up to the north near Amfissa. The mountains mainly filled with rocks and bushes lie to the east and west. On a clear day the Peloponnesecan be seen. Other views include Galaxidi, central and northern Phocis mountains including parts of the Parnassus and the Crisaean Gulf which connects with the Corinthian Gulf

Things to Do

This port is mainly a site seeing spot, as is most places in Greece because of its awesome history.  Go to different museums such as the Delphi Museum.
