Salalah, the second largest town in the Sultanate of Oman, is the birthplace of the Sultan, Qaboos bin Said. The city is know as the "perfume capital of Arabia" because of the many perfumes made there. Many tourist come here because of the beautiful countryside and lush green vegetation.
The coast of Salalah city highly known for scuba diving, snorkeling, and bird
watching. Enjoy the vast amounts of reef inhabitants and fish while you snorkel
or scuba dive in the warm waters.
Nabi Ayoub's Tomb lies about 40 kilometers from Salalah. This is the location of
the tomb where the remains of the Prophet can be found. There are verses from
the Holy Quran on the walls of the building.
