Saint John, with a population of 4,300, is an island located in the Caribbean Sea and a constituent of the United States Virgin Islands, an unincorporated territory of the United States. It's the smallest of the three main islands. St. John is located in the Caribbean Sea about 4 miles east of Saint Thomas. The island has no airports, therefore boats are the only way in the island.
One of the main attractions here
in St. John is to go snorkeling. Tourists from all over take
advantage of the warm waters and the beautiful setting. The
coral reefs here are just stunning to look at. Tropical fish
that actually come up to you showing off their colors. Feeding them
some bread will encourage more and more fishes to come near you.
Next thing you know you have thousands of fish following you. So
don't forget to pack your snorkel gear because this is one
activity that you absolutely cannot pass up.
On top of snorkeling, you can also rent boats and jet skis. Head
out to the ocean and explore the warm waters of the Virgin
Islands. If you are a true adventurer, you can go snorkeling or
diving far beyond the shore.
