Tauranga, with a population just over 92,000, it is the key city of the western Bay of Plenty on the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand. It is the sixth largest city in the country. The name Tauranga comes from Maori with means "a sheltered anchorage". The countryside surrounding Tauranga is a very lush land, used to grow a plenty of fresh produce for both domestic and exporting.
Enjoy a fun day at Longridge Fun Park with the
whole family. Here you can ride a four wheel drive truck. Travel through
rough terrain, steams, uphill's, downhill's, and ditches. Maximum impact which
means it will be a very rough ride. If you have some adrenalin left over
from the off road experience, you have to do jet boating. No holds bar here.
Think of it as off-roading, but on water. Enjoy high speeds, tight turns, and
360's. You will also see the great scenery that surrounds the park. This is a
great stop for the whole family.
Dolphin diving is another activity that cannot be passed up. Swim with dolphins
or just watch them migrate near the boat. There are also whales, orcas, and an
abundance of marine life that can be seen. Don't forget the camera because
this can be a once in a lifetime experience.
