Overview

Valencia is a medium-sized port city and industrial area on the Costa del Azahar in Spain. It is the capital of the Autonomous Community of Valencia and the province of Valencia. The population of the city is about 1.6 million. Valencia�s port is one of the busiest on the Mediterranean coast and handles over 20% of Spain�s exports. The main exports here are food and drink, furniture, ceramic tiles, fans, textiles and iron products.

The beaches here are just truly beautiful. Enjoy mild weather, white sandy beaches, and cool clean air. Take advantage of the water activities here such as swimming, snorkeling, and jet skiing. A great place to relax and unwind with the whole family.

Visit the winding streets of barrio del Carmen containing buildings to Roman and Arabic times. The Cathedral was built between the13th and 15 century and is mostly of gothic architecture. Next to the Cathedral is the Basilica of the Virgin. Keep a camera handy to take pictures of these beautiful buildings with stunning architecture.
