Tabuaeran, also known as Fanning Island, is one of the Line Islands of the central Pacific Ocean with a population of about 2,000. Reef fishes and shellfishes, coconut, pigs, chickens, and seaweed are local foods, supplementing a main diet of imported rice and tinned meats. The island's major exports are copra and hand crafts.
Water sports is something that cannot be passed
up, especially surfing. Surfing is just amazing here. Swimming and snorkeling is
also great activities here. The warm water and weather make it perfect all year
round.
