Overview

Corfu is an island of Greece, in the Ionian Sea. The island is part of the Corfu Prefecture. The principal town of the island is also named Corfu, or Kerkyra in Greek. Corfu has ferry services to the rest of Greece with Igoumenitsa and Gaios in the island of Paxoi and as far as Patras. There is also a small port in Lefkimmi. The beaches have about 135 miles of coastline with capes and points.

Things to Do

The beaches here are not to be passed up. White sandy beaches and warm waters makes this the perfect place to take advantage of some water sports such as canoeing, swimming, snorkeling, and diving. Enjoy and relax the day away.

Visit the historic site of Kassiopi. Here you can walk the steps of Cicero and Emperor Nero which were ancient greats. A great place to visit and to learn some history of the area.
