Overview

Ceuta, with a population of 75,000, is a Spanish exclave in North Africa, located on a northern tip of the Maghreb, on the Mediterranean coast. Ceuta is dominated by a hill called Monte Hacho, on which there is a fort occupied by the Spanish army. Monte Hacho is one of the possible locations for the southern Pillars of Hercules of Greek Legend, the other possibility being Jebel Musa.

Things to Do

Visit Monte Hacho and you will we rewarded with beautiful panoramic views of the harbor. You can also visit the Desnarigado Castle-Museum which house military artifacts.

Maritime Park is an area where you can find salt lakes, gardens, water jets, and more. There are also restaurants, a casino, and a dance club within the park. A great place for entertainment for the whole day.
