Punta Suarez is on Espanola Island in the Galapagos. The south coast is lined with abrupt and dangerous crests. This is an arid island with a vegetation of bushes. The wealth of Espanola lies in its colonies of sea birds, as the endemic albatross, the blue-footed booby and the masked booby. It is a very good place for the apnea and scuba diving. Punta Suarez, in the southwest of the island, in spite of its inhospitable appearance it conceals the most assorted and the most extraordinary colonies of sea birds.
Punta Suarez is one of the highlights of the Galapagos Islands. The assortment and magnitude of wildlife is what makes for a memorable visit. Visitors find resident wildlife including brightly colored Marine Iguanas, Swallow Tailed Gulls, Blue Footed Boobies, Galapagos Hawks, a selection of Finch, and the Waved Albatross.
