Australia Tour Packages
Australia is one of the top travel destinations in the world, with people arriving year-round to explore various areas of the continent. You can visit Australia at any time and find lots of things to do. Australia is located in the southern hemisphere, so the seasons are opposite those in the northern hemisphere. Australia experience all four seasons, but the northern region also goes through a wet season and a dry season. Many of the top travel destinations are located along the Australian coast. Central Australia is predominantly desert, which experiences extreme temperatures in both the summer and the winter.
- Summer – December to February – Peak Season
Australia is a favorite holiday season destination, with many people taking their vacations to the country during this time. The summer has the hottest months, so most travel tends to stay within the southern region. The central region experiences extreme desert heat, while the northern region undergoes wet season with high humidity and tropical heat.
- Fall – March to May – Best Season
If you're flexible on time, visiting during the fall is the best time to go to Australia. The fall weather is ideal for enjoying the outdoors, hanging out on the beach, or exploring the islands off the coast. Fall season maintains some of the summer heat, although slightly cooler and more bearable.
- Winter – June to august – Low Season
The winter offers the best travel prices due to a decline in tourism for the season. It's the coldest time of year, making the southern region less favorable for travelers expecting Australia sunshine and heat. Traveling to Australia's northern region is best during the winter. The tropical heat and humidity cool down for enjoying the outdoor sights and attractions. However, the central region can experience extreme freezing temperatures at night.
- Spring – September to November – Good Season
Spring in Australia is very similar to the fall – visit in the late spring, and the country will begin to heat up for the approaching summer. It's one of the best times for visiting the numerous beaches along the Australian coasts.

Reviews for Australia Tours and Vacations
I enjoyed the Gate 1 16 Day Australia and New Zealand with Cairns and Ayers Rock trip. The trip had fascinating included and optional excursions, was reasonably priced, and the tour guides were good. There were several intraflights and a day-long journey in the tour bus to the Bay of Islands. All of the accommodations were great with the exception of Novotel Rotorua Lakeside. Although the hotel was convenient to restaurants, I did not have the cleanest hotel room. Also, it would have been great if more time was allowed to explore Auckland, New Zealand.

Great trip. Some feedback for Trafalgar/AATKings: 1. Those joining at Melbourne did not know that hotel breakfast would be opened early in order to accommodate early departure. Please advise in advance. 2. We got no advance notice that we couldn't take honey onto Kangaroo Island and we had bought 2 jars. Please advise before trip starts. 3. The itinerary was good but we suggest staying longer at Lambert Estate in order to include a tour of their facility and grounds and skip the Artisans of Barossa. 4. When short stops for lunch, please offer some suggestions, e.g. nearest bakery (and that they serve lunch items, not just baked goods) or quick restaurant. 5. A driving tour of Adelaide would be a nice feature to add in after Lamberts or other time. 6. Note in the itinerary that there are limited seats on the Kangaroo Island Nocturnal Tour. 7. Fewer vegetarian options on this trip than other ones. There should be one at each dinner.
