Reviews for Brazil Tours and Vacations

Our tour guide, along with our local guides were fantastic. They were very knowledgeable and very professional and courteous. He was fantastic, very knowledgeable, funny and was very organized. We did not miss a beat.

Balaji S

The tour guide supplied us with a 12 oz bottle of drinking water per day to drink and brush our teeth, etcetera. We were told that we should not drink the water in the countries we visited and to buy the required extra water at local stores. "The National Academies of Sciences is another organization that weighs in on the amount of water you should drink each day, stating that about 2.7 liters for women and 3.7 liters of water for men per day are about right. That would be about 5-6 bottles of water for women and 7-8 bottles for men." These amounts may be more than is required but we were quite active on our tours and more than a 12 oz bottle of drinking water was required. A few cases of bottled water to share with the group would not cost that much. We have taken many tours with Cosmos, Gate 1 and other operators and have always been encouraged to drink extra water and it was supplied for the asking on every bus tour. In addition we had paid for several tours offered by Cosmos and the tour guide canceled several of them with no suggestions for alternative tours and my wife and I were able to book tours for us (and several other of the group) with Viator. The sites were fantastic, particularly Iguazu Falls and Easter Island but the Cosmos firm and guide fell short.

David L

Excellent itinerary with wonderful tour guides in every location. The hotels were up to the usual Globus standards.
