The tour managers (CEOs) were both wonderful and passionate about their countries. They went out of their way to be helpful. Some of the positive hotel reviews depend upon the room assigned. I had a couple of difficult room assignments. One was small and below street level, making it impossible to open the room shades. Nothing could be done about it the first night, but I did change rooms the following two nights, and was quite satisfied with my new room. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me. I would definitely recommend this tour, but would also recommend a pre-night. I loved Tbilisi and was happy to have had to stay another night to accommodate the airline schedule.

The 14-day tour of Armenia & Georgia was fantastic! We had 2 tour guides, one for Armenia and the other for Georgia. The Armenian tour guide, was passionate about her country's history and culture. She has deep in-depth knowledge of Armenia's painful history and freely shares her love of her country. Our guide in Georgia, took a more casual approach, but we learned a lot and enjoyed seeing both the urban sights in Tbilisi as well as the dramatic mountain scenery in Georgia. We visited lots of ancient monasteries in both countries, typically set in beautiful areas located high on bluffs or mountainsides, and enjoyed the local food that always includes fresh bread, salads and fruit, along with local wine at lunch and/or dinner. There was a lot of uphill walking on cobblestones and unpaved surfaces, so this tour is not for those with any walking difficulties. The temperature in early to mid-June was warm and mostly sunny with highs near 90 most afternoons. Hats and sunglasses are essential along with scarves for ladies to cover their heads and shoulders when going in monasteries. The pace of the tour was fast and every day was packed full of activities and sights. We were tired but happy at the end of each day and really enjoyed seeing these two unique countries.
