Tour with Cosmos overall was good. However, I wouldn't take this trip or recommend others do. The hotels used were often outside of the cities visited, and meals were mass produced and unflavorful.

This was my first Gate1 tour and I was very impressed with the quality of the tour. The director was knowledgeable and good at accommodating various needs of the 39 individuals who made up our group. The hotels were excellent and the breakfast buffets above and beyond in terms of quality and quantity. The bus driver was professional and friendly. His suggestions for a change in itinerary due to weather conditions were excellent and made great use of our time together. I highly recommend this tour.

This was an action-packed and beautiful tour. It feels like we really covered the region. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with limited mobility or stamina. I wish we'd had more time in Sarajevo (we departed early the next morning, which didn't allow further time for exploration) and in Postojna. The tour included scheduled bio breaks in several picturesque locations; this was unexpected but greatly appreciated. My only criticisms are quite minor. An optional dinner (Cruise & Dinner in Dubrovnik) was a bit underwhelming. I wouldn't describe it as a cruise; it's more of a water taxi to a beachside dinner. It was insanely hot!! The dinner location was beautiful, and the appetizer/entree were delicious (the dessert was so-so.). The hotel-provided meals in Sarajevo weren't as great as in other cities, though the hotel itself was centrally located and beautiful. The Plitvice Lakes hotel was so-so (it's nationally owned I believe) as was the Dubrovnik hotel (far from the Old Town). However, I understood that the options in these locations were more limited.
