Our Tour guide Elena (Helen) Azarenko was one of the best we ever had. We have been to many Gate1 tours, but Helen was the best so far. She was always respectful and very knowledgeable about Central Asia. In our case she went out of the way to make a stop that was emotionally very important for us. As it turned out everyone in the group thought this stop was very important and appropriate. She has an intellectual sense of humor. not very common, that we enjoyed throughout. She was always on time and made sure that everyone is comfortable when taking flight and high-speed train. She is truly an asset to Gate1 and a great human being. We will remember her for many years.

I really enjoyed the trip. We did move hotels almost everyday which is not for everybody, but I was great with it. Involved with this tour. The guide was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make suggestions that were tailored to each traveler.

The description about this tour at the time I booked this vacation versus my actual experience, exceeded my expectations. Being this was my first tour, I didn’t know what to expect for my recent vacation to Uzbekistan. From the transportation provided, to the sights visited, from the hotel accommodations, to the staff, everything was perfect. Everything was clear and concise, and I was very impressed during my entire time in Uzbekistan. I was able to learn the history and see the important landmarks which have intrigued me from afar for so long about Uzbekistan, which now I can gladly say I personally had the pleasure of experiencing firsthand.
