Their onboard culinary staff offers sophisticated menus comprised of wonderful soups, fresh produce, high quality choice cut meats, and fresh fish and seafood. Your Maitre d' always welcomes you to the restaurant with a bright smile.
Start your day with a lavish gourmet champagne breakfast buffet. Choose from a rich assortment of breads, croissants and pastries, a variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, and smoked salmon. Sample the delicious cheeses, cold cuts and local sausages, as well as Their daily regional specials. An array of traditional breakfast items is also available from the menu.
Return from your shore excursion to a delicious lunch. Start with mouth-watering hot or cold appetizers, homemade soups, then choose from a selection of great entrees, finish off with a delectable dessert and complimentary cappuccino.
In the evening, be Their honored guest for an elegant dinner or a traditional theme night with a feast of regional specialties. Enjoy delicious cuisine and complimentary free-flowing wines from the local vintners. Their kitchen crew knows how to orchestrate a truly memorable dining experience.
Tea and coffee is available 24 hours. High tea is served daily mid-afternoon with cakes and pastries.
Note: Special dietary or food allergies requests must be provided to AmaWaterways at time of reservation. An effort will be made to inquire about meeting the request. But AmaWaterways cannot assure the request can be accommodated. It is recommended country club casual for dinner. There is one semi-formal evening onboard, the Captain's Farewell.
Age Restrictions
Children under 4 are not allowed on ship. Children 4 - 17 must be in a cabin with an adult. If the child is part of a double occupancy, full adult rate is charged. Children under 11 may share a stateroom with 2 adults, if approved. The under-11 child rate is 25% of the lowest stateroom category.
Children 11 - 17 may share only a junior suite or higher. The 11 - 17 child rate is 75% of the lowest cabin category price. Port charges apply for children regardless of age. Hotel terms for children vary. Please contact a Reservation Agent to discuss the guidelines.
Regarding advanced pregnancy (after 5 months), for safety of parent and child, and depending on various circumstances, restrictions or exclusion, may apply. Please inform AMAWaterways immediately, so they can assess circumstances and possible accommodation
The gangplanks for entering and exiting the ship restrict wheelchair and buggy movement, requiring guests to be walk on and off the ship. A reasonable level of fitness is required on these tours.
Tipping
Prices do not include gratuities. Gratuities are customary expressions of appreciation for a job well done. It is recommended 3 Euros per passenger, per day for the Cruise Director and 12 Euros per passenger, per day for the crew.

The Walking Track is perfect if you want to stroll the deck. Located on the Sun Deck.Everything was perfect. Hotels booked were excellent, Amadante was perfect, staff always courteous and professional, tours were very informative, but Veronika our Cruise Manager was exceptional.
Our trip with AMAWaterways was close to perfection. Every detail was covered with an exceptional Tour Director and friendly, attentive staff.
Ama did an amazing job with the cruise. The ship crew and tour director were exceptional. It was the best value cruise we have taken. We were disappointed with two of the excursions. The Paris city tour, included in the extension, was two hours of walking around and looking at buildings with no real significance. It ended with a light show in a warehouse, which gave me vertigo and I lasted five minutes. People want to see the real sights. We would have rather spent two hours riding past historical structures. We signed up for the American invasion beaches tour. We only saw Omaha Beach, at high tide, and did not see Utah Beach. Instead we were taken to a little tourist village, in the British section.
