My husband and I just returned from Globusâ?? Spain, Portugal and Morocco with Barcelona (ZUE 722) July -August 2016 tour, and wanted to share our very positive experience. This was definitely one of the best trips we have been on. The service during our initial planning and booking by Affordable Tours to the actual trip organized by Globus was first class. It was the most amazing experience. Our Tour Director was excellent, and went above and beyond what was expected of him. His calm and friendly personality coupled with his knowledge and a willingness to accommodate all the guests and their various requests was priceless. Our daily schedules were clearly communicated. He is truly a credit to Globus and deserves to be recognized. Our coach driver was a very calm, professional and respectful driver, always present with an exceptionally spotless coach, lending a helping hand with a smile to everyone getting on and off the coach. Our driver also made us feel very safe, and made our trip a pure delight. Our local Morocco guide was outstanding. With his wealth of knowledge of the county and its rich history combined with some fun stories we left satisfied that that we had accomplished and seen the important landmarks of every Moroccan city we visited. Thanks to him our understanding of the local culture we experienced a true insight into each amazing destination. The accommodations offered throughout our stay were unique, befitting to the region with a certain charm all its own. The tour itinerary were well selected tours and the day trips were excellent. It did offer some free time, but with a choice of a lot of optional excursions which we chose, our days were pretty busy as expected. Without the optional tours offered by Globus all the incredible sights would not have been possible or experienced if we tried to see them on our own. Very interesting guided tours and well informed local tour guides who were personable, spoke fluent English and were well versed on their country. We learned a lot, and at the end of each day it was very satisfying to reflect on the daily activities. During our three weeks we met great people and made new friends. Affordable Tours and its agents were the best travel agency that we have ever worked with! Our agent at AffordableTours assisted us with the initial planning and booking was thorough and kept me well informed. When we had a slight misunderstanding about our optional excursions, they promptly resolved the matter to our satisfaction. I can\'t stress enough how great Affordable Tours was, and how I strongly recommend working with them. We would highly endorse this GLOBUS trip for anyone wanting a taste of this region. Thank you to Affordable Tours for booking this tour, and Globus for making our trip one of the most memorable trips of our life and we hope to see you again!
I thought some of the optional excursions were overpriced, but otherwise, a fabulous travel experience. Can't wait to plan my next trip!
I also want to say that our guide did an outstanding job - he was most professional, knowledgable and helpful. We also enjoyed the guide in Morocco, Mohamed, who was also very knowledgable and entertaining. This was my third tour with Globus booked through Affordable Tours and I would book with them again as well as refer to a friend.
It's simple: You refer your friends, family, and anyone to us and when they book you will receive an American Express gift card worth up to $200 in the mail for simply referring.Read More
